Strengths: EC’s, Letters of Rec, Test scores (not counting math), Directed that play, it was Shakespeare
Weaknesses: Math ACT scores, GPA was a little low
Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Well my waitlist letter said a TON of people applied. Probably waitlisted because I was right on the cusp with scores and grades and everything… I was qualified but none of my stuff really really stood out and they didn’t get the best of my writing. BC wasn’t my absolute top choice, so hope I don’t sound like too much of a dweeb to say I was a little flattered just to be waitlisted, I thought for sure I’d get a rejection.
Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Accepted Boston University, Rochester, Washington and Lee, University of Denver, CU-Boulder and CSU (last two were safety schools) Defered EA at Chicago then rejected, straight up rejected at Northwestern. Still waiting on Emory.</p>
<p>[ /list]**General Comments:[ /b] Congrats to everyone that got accepted. BC is a seriously cool school. I’ll see what happens on the waitlist just to keep as many options as possible…but right now I’m def leaning toward BU, I just have to find a way to afford it (and I know I know, it’s totally blasphemy to say i like both BU and BC, but I’m being honest, they’re both really cool in their own ways).</p>
