<p>HonorsCentuar, well as long as you didn’t choose Northwestern, we accept you (jk jk). No my friend is going to Northwestern and many others are either going to Purdue or IU so UChicago seems like the best choice to attend because I will be close enough to stay in touch with friends rather than go all the way to the East Coast but I guess I’ll still have to wait and see. But chances for me are looking slim anywhere else since Yale and Princeton have had their first (and maybe only?) wave of waitlists admits and I wasn’t one.</p>

<p>I just got an email from my regional admissions director (whom I’ve been bothering a little) asking for a phone interview. This might be good news. I was rejected from HYUoPC AND Northwestern, but my UChicago was better, I think. So . . . good omen?</p>

<p>I emailed him right after I found out, and he told me to email him again later, so I emailed him again in May. And no, I’m not an international student. We just set up an appointment time today.</p>

<p>My regional AO said that UChicago is not in activie waitlist activity in her email, and even if they do admit some, it will still be a very limited number…so does that mean a no to me?? Should I just stop having the false hope?</p>
<p>well the high yield works against us, but apparently a few have gotten in, but none after May 1 except for somethingshiney, to my knowledge</p>
