Class Secretary (9th-12th), school spirit club prez (12th), cancer charity club prez (12th), Junior and Senior Link (club that helps 9th graders transition into high school), girls state and nation, varsity swimmer (9th-12th), ballet (I dance about 10 hours a week or more a week and have been dancing since I was 5, I sent in a supplement with a DVD, i’m decent I think and I’ve gone to a bunch of summer programs)
Job/Work Experience: I’ve worked at my dance studio as a secretary 5 hours a week for the last year and a half
Volunteer/Community service: 180+ hours, but I don’t think I put down the number of hours anywhere
Summer Activities: Girls State and Nation, summer swim league, ballet programs at Ballet Austin (6 weeks), Joffrey Ballet NYC (4 weeks), American Ballet Theatre (4 weeks), Kaatsbaan Ballet (3 weeks)
Essays: Common App was about my learning disability. I have severe dyslexia and my essay was about how I overcame my disability and how I’ve grown as a person because of it.
Teacher Recommendation: My StudGov advisor and CompGov teacher. Both really like me and I’m really close to both. I think they were probably both really good, but who doesn’t have good recs?
Counselor Rec: Very generic, I’m sure.
