I GOT THE EMAIL :)

Dear Timothy:

As we prepare to release Early Action decisions, we wanted to provide you with an important update regarding how you will receive your decision.

ALL admissions decisions will be sent via email from Michigan.Admissions@umich.edu with the subject line “Your University of Michigan Admissions Decision”. Please add this email address to your safe list so that your decision does not go to your junk or spam folder. We recognize the receipt of your admission decision is an important event. We know it is a personal experience for each student and encourage you to open your email in privacy to ensure you are able to fully process your decision before sharing it with others. Decisions will be released to the email address you provided on your application.

The application status link in the New & Prospective Student Portal on Wolverine Access will be unavailable until all decisions have been posted online. The system will be available again for students no later than December 23.

For more information, please review our Early Action Decisions page.

Email!!!

How long after the heads up email last year did the decisions come

last year it was 2-3 days

Me toooooo!!!

just got my ready letter too!!!

Got my get ready email at 3:18 PM!!!

@danipower0 thanks for the advice! i just got an e-mail from them now about EA decisions, so looks like im good :D

sooo are we thinking tomorrow, friday, or monday now?!

got the e-mail =) im expecting friday or monday…def not tomorrow

Any ideas about time like 5pm?

i wouldn’t say definitely not tmrw. it is still possible. but if i was to guess i’d say friday or monday… probably friday.

probably at 3 like they did with the get ready email…

Probably Monday. It was 3 days last year. Also, tmmrw is a day when a lot of schools send out ED decisions. U Mich would prefer to have these candidates withdraw their spots so they will allow time for them to do so. The vast majority of the ED candidates ACCEPTED to other schools (namely the Ivies) would easily get into U Mich, so if they withdraw their apps, the acceptance rate won’t be inflated.

Got the “heads up” email :)

does get ready mail mean our decisions will definitely be sent in the next few days??
