<p>My son got deferred last year on the Saturday the letters went out. In March he got accepted and is now a freshman. If you don’t get in at first it is not the final answer. He sent emails to his admissions counselor and sent in his current grades. He was not asked to send in the grades but since they were good he realized it wouldn’t hurt.</p>
<p>I understand your stress about not wanting to be deferred. DS is one of 30 kids nominated for a private donor full-tuition scholarship. If he isn’t accepted EA, he doesn’t move on to the next round. Good luck to everyone!</p>

<p>We don’t know that yet. Last year they sent the get ready e-mails in the afternoon. It could still be the 14th</p>
<p>Right, but it just seems so stressful, especially to wait until March! I’m not confident at all about getting accepted, but if I do it will be the best day of my life - all of ours I’m sure :)</p>

<p>I got an email saying that decisions will come out by the 24th of December so we may still have a while to go</p>
