I hate all of you. but I love you, too.

im really fretting over my 10th grade 2nd semester GPA now… 5 B+s that could have all been A-s with one more point on the exam for each class… oh well hopefully they see my upward grade trend and 34 ACT and decide that it isn’t too bad… but crap, i dont know if im ready to see the decision. if i didnt get in, i would feel terrible

Listen Aveesh you have a 34ACT ur in

Hey friends, this is an email that i just got from my guidance counselor that is apparently a forward from UMich Admissions. Get pumped.

Dear High School Counselor:

We are pleased to confidentially inform you that we will begin releasing our Early Action decisions on Friday, December 14th. Due to the volume of decisions the action may take several days to complete.

All students who qualified for Early Action have already received a qualifying email from us. Students who did not qualify for Early Action have been notified that they will be considered under Regular Decision, and will hear from us by early April.

Students who are offered admission will also receive a letter in the mail which will be postmarked by Dec. 24.

Interest in the University of Michigan continues to grow. Early Action applications increased 15% over last year, to more than 22,000. Initially, we have been more conservative in our admissions offers to ensure full consideration for all students who apply by our February 1 deadline. If you have concerns about individual decisions for your students, kindly wait until January to contact our office.

While this volume gives us a very strong applicant pool, we understand the demands this places on our busy high school counselors. We sincerely appreciate the good work that you do to support and advocate for your students.

If your students have been admitted Early Decision to another institution, please encourage them to submit their withdrawal notification at ecredentials@umich.edu as soon as possible.

Wishing you a happy and well-deserved rest this holiday season. Go Blue!

Sincerely,

Theodore L. Spencer

@dcsnow OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

Not that I don’t believe that email is real, but Michigan has confirmed multiple times that all decisions would be released at once. Now they’re planning on releasing the decisions over several days?

well there goes any chance of me focusing on that calc 3 final exam i have tomorrow

And also, would they really send an email that says “We are confidentially informing you”?

-_-.

if mich released all at once their systems would crash…

Friday, eh?

Well, they said that decisions would all be released at once.

my reaction: http://i.imgur.com/OiAIi.gif

@dcsnow1345 Please tell me that’s real

Come to think of it that’s pretty silly wording, but i can take screenshot if it will make all of you skeptical mofos happy

@dcs prove them wrong

I agree that a massive release of 22,000 emails would more than likely crash their system and they wouldn’t know who got what and when, so as far as that part is concerned, I think it’s legit.

come to think of it again, i don’t know how to do that. :D. Teach me your ways

can you please screenshot it and post?

Oh god, I hope the email is real. I need to know NOW. Seriously.
