accepted into college of engineering from ny!!!
good luck to everyone!

Anyone hear from Illinois yet?

@hergie10 I’m in-state too and haven’t heard yet either. It looks like most of the acceptances so far have been from the southern part of the state. What part of the state are you in?

For those of you who’ve been accepted, were you one of those “top priority schools”?

@pdanos: Illinois comes out in 42 minutes

Congratulations, Ronnilwazilb!

I… don’t have any email yet, but then again, my school is far from what you’d call “significant.” I won’t be surprised if it takes longer, but considering that I’m instate, I’d expect to get the email tonight or tomorrow…

I almost felt happy about this, but everything about the shooting seriously wrecked the mood… my heart goes out to those poor kids. :(

@ekim339 thank you so much!! Good luck!!

@collegepara I’m not sure. My high school is in the second largest district in MI, so maybe?

If anyone know North Jersey times, please post

With schmiddy acknowledging he/she was just trolling, it appears fromflorida was the first in the thread to post (at 3:53pm eastern).

They turn off the View Decision tab on Wolverine Access until all of the emails are sent. No need to keep checking that site, just your email. A bit of advice: a watched phone never rings, i.e. don’t wait around watching your email. Just go out and do something with your friends or family, see The Hobbit or something. Try to distract yourself and not obsess over it. You’ve waited several weeks. Don’t let the last few hours get to you now.

Good luck everyone!!

can someone PLEASE confirm or debunk this… I really hope it isnt true:

Random, I believe. Last year it was separated by days. Like Friday was acceptances, Saturday was Deferrals, and Sunday was Denials. But of course, there were lots of people who got in on Saturday and Sunday, and didn’t on Friday. Just be patient! It will come either today or a few days from now.

a yes from California!

Not true, I had friends receive deferrals on Friday and acceptances on Monday

How do you know the time for your area?

My friend in state got his email at around 3:50 .I still havent heard anything.

@cupuzz, I am a current first year at UMich. Acceptances, deferrals, and rejections were not separated by day. Each type of decision came out each day. I received my acceptance after 6PM on Friday.

@RonBurg, most of the population of Michigan is in the southeast part of the state. I don’t think anyone will be able to identify a pattern by geography or anything. Based on last year, it will be just admits and different types of defers.

In state, still nothing

I got in! I’m so happy right now. I really needed this after my Columbia rejection last Thursday! Good luck to everyone else!

i’m in central jersey @bencaldwell hopefully we find out soon
