@nycgirl20 I know you think your answers are so awesome when you submit it then you look back and you’re like holy crap CRINGE!!! @helix96 I too basically got rejected from all the universities I applied to during senior year (then again my GPA was not outstanding in high school unfortunately)
I’ve done a lot better freshman year in college so I just hope Columbia will at least wait list me…
I should also be studying for my exams (on a quarter system) but geez the anxiety is killing me…too bad we won’t know until most likely next week so i guess we can stress over it this weekend lmao
@willjamie it looks like they will be released next week…Doesn’t seem like they will be this week. 
I’m kinda relieved though tbh then i wont be in such a horrible mood when i see i get rejected and then also have to study for an exam on friday…

Do they send the PIN thing a few hours or a few days in advance? Trying to gauge whether we’re getting decisions today or not.

I already got rejected by upenn and uchicago. And I don’t have much expectation about cc, cauz I heard its acceptance is even lower than those two.
I felt really depressed the day I got those rejections, but when I try to think another way, I feel much much better. There are lots of thing that we can’t show the AOs in the application. Different people can have same achievements, but to some of them, it’s quite easy to finish, while to others, it may require great courage and efforts. However, during most cases, AO could only tell from the results, but not the process. So, just want to say in prior, if you get rejected, don’t think your effort is denied, it’s just because the AO does’t have access to know more about you.
ps. I am also struggled between finals and these admission results…but thinking in the above way makes my life quite easier^^
@pcccdj 1. Don’t give up hope, 2. Very true that these decisions are not transparent and it has nothing to do with your future success if you don’t get into schools with VERY small transfer acceptance rates… or any school for that matter.
I just got rejected from upenn and stanford. So don’ worry. This is not the end of the world!
@AcceptMe2015 Personally I don’t think anyone should be too upset with a Stanford reject because they accept a crazy little amount of transfer students ah so it doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with how great of a student you are etc 
There are tons of incredible students who get rejected by Stanford as transfers because they have such little space But I feel you, I was about to apply to Stanford then didn’t think it was worth it
After the onslaught of rejections that was Friday afternoon, I’ve finally realized that Columbia has been my dream school all along haha. I don’t think I’ll ever be more nervous than in the moment before these decisions drop…
Anyone know if there is any link between columbia/barnard decision releases? Barnard is coming out thursday.

Sigh I’m just so nervous…and I’ve also finally realized that Columbia is my dream school…I have never been this anxious…it is killing me. I have an exam on Friday so if I get rejected on Thursday (Which I probably will) then welll…there goes my grade for the exam!
