@Sallylush… I completely agree with you! I love Columbia because of its people, its atmosphere, and its location. I’ve lived in NYC for 8 years but now I’m in OH. And I really want to go back, so I feel like Columbia is the best reason for me to move back as a student.

also @HateSMUS i have the same problem. it’s great that columbia releases its ED results so early though, so if it’s bad news we’ll have time to get over the depression and finish RD’s on time!

Also made an account for the sole purpose of this thread.

I got an email today from the financial aid office, but it was for a completely different thing. I have yet to get the email that everyone else is talking about

^ @Toma… no : (, if you are deferred you will automatically be entered into the RD pool, but if you are rejected you may not resubmit for this year

They always email me at 1 or 3 AM after every other person, every time. If I don’t wake up to an email, I’ll be making one of those first thing tomorrow

Yes, it’s great that Columbia releases its ED probably the fastest among the other peer universities since it gives deferred/rejected applicants more time to prepare for RD applications. It’s little odd that some applicants haven’t received release notification email.

@HateSMUS- I don’t want to start one of the other supplements until I know I can list ED 2 for the deadline, so that’s very cool for CU to give everyone more time. (Also, what does your name mean?)
