To be honest, I applied to Columbia knowing I would get rejected. But, if one doesn’t try one has absolutely no chance of succeeding. So while I’m really hoping for an acceptance, I know I will most likely end up at my state flagship (Michigan), and that is just fine with me.

Oh and regardless of which way the decision goes, I’m skipping school Friday… ;)

Yeah, I’m definitely not going to school tomorrow. My schedule consists of spanish (we’re doing the oral part of our final and I’m totes mcgotes not ready for it, so I’mma do it next week), then student aide, then athletic training (naptime!), then an off period.

And also I just ate one of those huge freaking Godiva peppermint bark bars, so I’m probably going to be sick lol.

It’s raining here and the roads are pretty bad. My county’s rumored to have a 2-hour delay for tomorrow…I don’t think I would want school to be cancelled since I would constantly think about it (even more) at home.

I agree with @jasminny. Not going to school would make me think about decisions constantly. I get out a 1:25pm EST and I have no idea how I’ll keep myself sane until 5 pm.

Yeah, I understand that logic. If I had actual classes (like on my A days), then I would stay. But the idling for 3 hours in aide/training would kill me. I’m just hoping to sleep in til like noon haha.

Also alskjdhflaksjdfh should not have eaten that chocolate augh

This may sound gross, but a small part of the reason that I picked Columbia was that I assumed that a lot of people would have similar taste in music.

@theamazingemz Rise Against is awesome! “Savior” is classic, and “Make It Stop” relates to me incredibly. As for my five favs, they’d prolly be Evanescence, Lady Gaga, Alter Bridge, Skillet, and Three Days Grace.

Though those are my historic top 5, so far I’ve liked almost every band/artist mentioned. So good call, zekaje haha.

@JackB427- Savior is definitely in my top ten songs, if not five. I’ve been in love with them ever since I’d watch my brother play Tony Hawk back in like, 2004. (Like the Angel was one of the background tracks on the game.)

@zekaje Don’t be ashamed! I had the same assumption. One of my draws to New York is all of the concerts that happen there! And did you hear about the new album from The xx? I’m so excited!
