@santaman1 as an applicant to the CoE for ChemE, I’m pretty sure rates are not too dissimilar from other schools at Cornell. About 25 pages ago there was a link posted with all the stats…

Any body here for Materials Sciences ?

@santaman1 They have different requirements. A hotelie has hospitality experience. Period. An engineer does not necessarily have any engineering experience, but he or she probably will need higher scores and perhaps better academics. The rates, however, are close. But, engineering is lower by a few points.

Guys I just opened this link meant for First Year students who have been accepted and entered my applicant ID and that page showed me stuff like I am a accepted student ? https://newstudents.cornell.edu/first-year/todolist/private/

@tarunsudham Sorry, but I don’t think so. I can get in too

Wow! I tried it and got the same results. But it seems too good to be true. Perhaps this is a glitch?

I guess 3 are accepted then LOL. Never mind.

Can we for time pass just list the best attributes about ourself or the best reason as to why Cornell should admit you. Think of it like adcom guys asking you.

i got in as well

I also got in

Definitely a glitch. If you go in and try to put down your deposit, it takes you to a screen that says “congratulations on being accepted to one of the world’s most prestigious universities”

unless we all got accepted…

LOL.!!!11

Hey everybody, I have been stalking this thread since way back in October when people were freaking out about writing the common app and supplement essays. Applying to COE for Mechanical Engineering here from the beautiful southwest USA, though I’m not actually American myself lol

I think we’ve all gone mad by this point lol

Hahah we only wish, right? Definitely a glitch, unfortunately.

@tarunsudham btw I couldn’t get in so maybe you guys are in luck
*Scratch that, yes I could, I’m pretty sure we can log in anywhere on the website as long as we manually enter our App IDs and passwords, looks like its just gonna have to be brutal waiting

@tarunsudham I think that is for spring transfer students. What do you guys think?

Yeah im not sure what this website is…

Guys. Dont be pessimistic about your decision. We have worked hard for years to get accepted to this beautiful University. I have been dreaming about Dec 11 for the last 1 year every night. Its tough to express how much love attending this institution.
