Official Cornell Class of 2019 Early Decision

Like airspirit says

@khagedorn96‌ how do you get to that? If i click the plus button on the to do list for submitting enrollment it just has something drop down that says “the enrollment deposit is due within 10 days of the… January 9th”

Edit: on your to-do list, does everything say “incomplete” and “self track” in the margin?

do it…cross over to the dark side, drink the cool-aid :wink: haha it certainly will have no impact on your decision, accepted or rejected…it just has the small possibility of causing some kind of dysfunction with your account later on that you would have to call cornell tech support or something to fix, although unlikely…

@Cornell19 Same. lol may as well take this as a sign of rejection . wellf or me. makes me feel better lol. before it hought this was legit before u guys posted, and felt a little disappointed. Well now i know what to look forward to :p

@AcceptmeED @Cornell19 I think you have to click on the URL to the right where it says:

“Visit admit.cornell.edu/reply for instructions.”

And while on admit.cornell.edu/reply, click anywhere on the red ribbon to left.

Basically, you need to navigate to admit.cornell.edu whichever way to do it.

Pretty meaningless exercise, but fun nonetheless :-)

@fsharp Oh. I thought they actually followed the instructions. oh well. Well i’m glad this happened tho. I actually legit thought that if i didn’t get that notice, i didn’t get in. it made me feel sad but at the same time, i began thinking of others schools while that notion of rejection was racing in my head and felt a little bit postive. hope i can keep this attitude on thursday

what are you guys doing until 5 on thursday

@cats514 Study :/

@cats514‌ stare at my computer screen… duh

any good ideas that will get my mind off it and not stress out to the max

@cats514 going to the gym always helps me take my mind off things (:

yayayayayaya! I FOUND THE CONGRATES PAGE!!! thanks guys…it doesnt mean im accepted, it means ive confirmed that there is still no way to validate rejection or acceptance…what am i doing? what is wrong me? X_X

@khagedorn96‌ when you said this:

@hutchmemphis‌ Dang man that 35 though… It will help to be from Ten and I wouldn’t be too worried about that 3.6. Some kid got in from my school with around a 3.6 and a 34 regular decision last year and I don’t think he had any ilr ecs

I am curious. Was the guy you referenced white or did he have some diversity that may have helped him out?

…and then there were only 2 days

@hutchmemphis‌ He was white, not even in top 10%. No hooks that I know of. He was the reason I got really interested in it haha

@khagedorn96‌ okay wow that is comforting… i now have a shred of hope

I asked my magic conch shell if I’ll get accepted. it said no :(

okay y’all i am really worried because I made one grammatical error in my common app essay ( not my essay that was specifically for ilr but the common app one that you send to all the colleges) is that gonna completely screw me over

@hutchmemphis‌ what is the grammatical error? My sister spelled a word wrong and she still got into Penn. Maybe it was just luck that they overlooked it or didn’t notice it.

@tblegend97‌ i accidentally put a period where i meant to put a common and thereby, made a dependent clause a sentence but the essay itself is very strong
