This wait is destroying me, just found this thread yesterday when I got bored. I’m a British student who applied to Cornell’s arts and sciences.

Question. On your status thing dones it specify scores and recommendations or do they just have checks? Soray if this was asked before but I would rather not try to find it in 168 pages of posts.

*does not dones and sorry not soray…

check marks

I swear, all of us have to meet up during orientation or something (if we get accepted, that is)

@manas1997 thanks cause I accidentally went on the troubleshooting thing and it had choices such as" my test scores are wrong" and I was majorly confused not to mention scared.

@airspirit Yes! That would be so amazing.

funniest/most interesting story you ever had (everyone has one, don’t be scared): Okay so about two years ago I went on a cruise with my grandma and sister to Bermuda and I wasn’t feeling that well (I had the runs). I was in my cabin when I felt like I was going to crap my pants so I ran to the toliet, but I was too late. I **** all over the floor. I was panicked and embarrassed, so I took a towel and tried to clean it up. I didn’t know what to do to with the spoiled towel, so I put it in the trash can. Later that day, my grandma goes to the bathroom and starts yelling, “WHAT IS THIS” and she literally walks outside the bathroom with the spoiled towel! My face got so red when I apologized and told her I didn’t make it to the can in time. She then told me that she has a pill for that.
Story of my life

@bizswann3 Hahaha I’m sorry but that just made my day. Did you have tacos that day?

@bizswann3 =))

@bizswann3 If you wrote about that for your commona app essay, I would instantly accept you XD

haha no I did not have tacos, and at that point I don’t think the pill could’ve helped me. The damage was already done

Funniest/Most Interesting Story: So every now and then, I get headaches. Not common enough to be a concern, but every now and then they haunt me. I was complaining last year about a particular headache I was having when my dad asked me what was wrong. I told him, and he proceeded to tell me the exact reason for the headaches I’d been having for years.

When I was less than 2 yrs old (exact age unknown), my family went to the Renaissance Fair in Tuxedo, NY. It was a blistering hot day and my dad was forced to carry me on a back-pack sort of holder thing. When they got back to the car, my dad asked my mom to pop the trunk so he could get some bottles of water out. He tried to reach in, and got stuck. He did it again, and once again got the same result. After about 4 attempts to reach into the car, my mother screamed and ran over to him. My head had been stopping him from getting to the water bottles! Apparently after having my head bashed into the car 4-5 times I had a nice little gash in my forehead, however I didn’t cry for some reason and so my dad never realized what he was doing. So now, when people ask how I manage to do well in school, I just tell them this story :D
