Official Cornell Class of 2019 Early Decision

@LooneyToon That’s what I was asking (Hindi, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, etc). If you are interested we talked about IIT earlier in this thread somewhere.

this thread is up to 99 pages btw
we share your anxiety, @LooneyToon, and this thread is growing exponentially as the date approaches…

@connect1234‌ How many posts you think we will be at by December 11th at 5pm? Im guessing around 2200

Page 100? I’m I that guy?

@Ericthenewyorker‌ I really like The Antlers! Ive listened to 4 songs, Kettering is my favorite

Dang 100 pages! I can’t believe I met some of you guys 99 pages ago

First post on page 100. I feel too accomplished…

@Kungpaoasian‌ Yeah I read the bit about IIT. As for your question, I’m comfortable coding in Python, Java, and a little bit of C/C++. I learnt Java first so it’s the easiest for me, but I’ve come to realize the power of Python recently. I’ve always built a few websites and Android applications, so I’m familiar with HTML/CSS/JavaScript too. About the IITs, frankly, it all depends on one or two exams. I’m not comfortable with the idea that one or two exams could determine my entire future. Furthermore, your major is determined by your rank, and Computer Science is one of the toughest majors to obtain (you need a rank between 1 and 200 out of a few million, if I’m not wrong). I’ll take the exam just in case, but I really don’t plan to stay back in India.

@Cornell19‌ they’re amazing… I saw them at Webster hall this summer it was unreal ^:)^

oooo, good idea @Cornell19, yes, let’s guess…I’ll say 2,015 posts just because it’s cute/grad yr.

On page 100 of last year’s thread it was December 15th.

@Kungpaoasian‌ I knoww, I just hope I get to meet all of you guys at Cornell next Fall! Sad to think that like half of us will be gone on the 11th. I just want in sooo bad but at the same token I have to be realistic and realize its a reach.

If we get in, we should all hang out some time at Cornell, a CC reunion

What are some of the other schools you guys are considering?

@LooneyToon‌

1) Cornell (Duhh)

2) UC Berkeley

3) Duke

4) UMich

5) UPenn

@Cornell19‌ That’s great. I’m applying to them all too, except I’m not so sure about Duke. What’s your intended major?

Not positive, I think Econ, possibly business, who knows. If you’re doing computer science you should also look in to Cal Poly SLO.

@Cornell19 I’ll take a look at it. Thanks! Just waiting on Cornell right now. The decision comes at 3:30AM on the 12th for me, and I have a physics exam on the same day. :expressionless:

@LooneyToon, that’s tough because if it were me, no way I’d be able to sleep so I’d stay up until I got the decision. I get up at 6 AM for school, so it would be an all-nighter for sure, just too nervous to sleep.

The last two years Cornell has officially released decision date on website on December 5th for those curious
