If you’re talking about the student center, mine still says inquiry access denied

@TarunSudhams @jamesjunkers there’s nothing new in my portal or “to-do” list, I already sent in my tax returns and my parents. I don’t think they need anything more than whatever was due on Nov 1st from applicants until (if) they are accepted

@TarunSudhams they do financial aid for everyone, accepted or denied, not “if they are considering you.” The financial aid and admissions office are independent of each other.

Its actually Financial To Do List which should ask for income tax files etc.

Your to do list should be blank… If it’s not, then it’s something you should have sent. 2013 tax returns were due November 1

lol

@TarunSudhams - Take a look at this.
http://admissions.cornell.edu/news/international-applicants-–-financial-documents-not-required-admission

I’m ethnically indian, but i’ve lived in the states my whole life. Nice to see some international applicants on this thread.

according to cornell financial aid and admissions definitely have nothing to do with each other. " If you are admitted to the university, a link to our required Declaration of Finances will be in your acceptance materials sent in April." i think they would be sharp enough to only release the link only after you are accepted, its Cornell…they wont overlook something like that so easily

Thats a breather. Thanks a lot guys. I was too scared. Yeah Cornell staff should be smart enough to do so, BUt still its another 4 days more. So ALL THE BEST TO EVERYONE.

Shouldn’t Cornell have told said by now exactly when decisions will be released???

@TI84PSE They have. It’s on the admissions website and it says it on the Self Service site where you can check your application status. It’s definitely December 11 at 5 PM.

@TI84PSE They confirmed that it will be on the 11th, on their website

11th

Count me in brotha!

This is the confirmation of the Decision Release date/time. I feel like this needs to be restated every page for new lurkers to this thread :P

I believe I joined this thread a little before the application deadline. Since then, I have hit many highs – meeting new people who assured me that we’re all perfect and we can all get in – and many lows – realizing that Cornell is one of the hardest schools in the country to get into, and even being deferred would be a blessing. But the best part about this thread - about college confidential, in general, is that there are other people there to experience the highs and lows with you. Although in reality I will never actually know if I meet any of you, I do consider all of you my friends. Through debating what the hardest schools were, to anxiously awaiting the November 1, to the tally of where we are all applying, to the random conversation about cars, to the speculations of December 11, to the announcement of December 11, we have all been there together. And as such, I want to wish you all the best of luck on Thursday. Reality will hit, and although upsetting, not every one of us will get accepted. It is statistically impossible. To those of us who are so lucky, congratulations! That’s amazing! But please be mindful of the others. To those of us who get deferred, Cornell still wants you! Don’t count yourself out yet! And finally, to those of us who get rejected, I know you don’t want to hear it, but there are other schools. Where ever you go, you will do amazing. Good luck everyone, and **103 more hours

@jamesjunkers haha you know I just joined this thread recently and I already feel a lot of what you’re saying. It’s good to know that good people will be going to Cornell

Anyone else from PA, applying to CAS?

@jamesjunkers is right on the mark. I can’t believe it’s 4 days away.
