For those who got the diversity email, did you get the likely letter yesterday??
I hope one comes for me
Only expect a likely if you are female engineering (cane yesterday) or URM (came today) - as of now, no other likelies have come out.

And @Shadoww this was the first email I got, but it says in the email that I was admitted into the class of 2019 and my admittance packet has been put in the mail.
So if I’m a URM should I abandon all hope haha
I’ve only received one email from Cornell. It arrived at 3:31pm today.

I also received 2 emails today. One time-stamped at 3:33, and the other at 4:33. A pleasant surprise when I woke up from my nap. (I am a URM and applied for the college of engineering).

For those asking about internationals receiving likelies, I surprisingly got one today. Btw, I applied to the college of arts and science.
Holy crap I can’t believe I got in, let alone a likely letter! Congrats to all the others!! Holla at ya boy at the diversity hosting event

I live in Ohio and got the likely letter for Engineering—here are some quick stats for those wondering - 34 ACT(35,34,34,34) 2260 SAT(690 CR, 800 Math, 770 W) SAT II: 790 Chem and 760 Math II
(Only reason I’m posting on here is because I swore if I got in to any reach school I’d let future college appliers know lol)

Any chance the likely letters are fake? I got one, but there was a guy in the other thread who says he was “99% sure” they were fake. He said the language used in the letter was not typical, and said that most likely someone got a hold of the mailing list. Did anyone call the admissions office to confirm?
They aren’t fake. Last year, likelies were sent to URMs with the same wording on 3/14 - which is directly in line with this year. Don’t worry, congratulations!
