General comments: If you want to go to Cornell, do not get discouraged by the scores and essays of people who have been accepted. Do your absolute best in school and don’t change yourself to be what you think Cornell wants. It seems that they want sincerity and individuality. Apply no matter how bleak your chances of getting in. And don’t let the estimated cost discourage you either. It was actually cheaper for me to go to Cornell than an in-state public school.
