<p>Ever heard of “denial of service attacks”? Asking a poorly designed server to do too many things at the same time usually crashes it. Few academic servers are properly equipped or configured to handle heavy traffic.</p>

<p>Oh, FYI i am pretty sure the UCSD server is shut down after midnight on weekends to prevent dorky hackers from brute forcing. I couldn’t get in at 1 in the morning last weekend either…I accepted anyways from Scholars’ Day, I just want the Regents Scholarship.</p>
