Points off for organization, but shouldn’t affect your essay score if you wrote a great essay. If it’s in between a 5 and 6, you’ll get a 5.

@i2400ezpz
You only need 2 sentences for conclusion, and you can still get a 6/6

Would the mixing of spices and other traditional ingredients to create new food be traditionalism or assimilation? I put down traditionalism.

@Woandering It was something about environmental costs

@agupte
I put traditionalism, but that’s very debatable.

I forgot that question, oh well.

I can’t believe one small error on the math portion can bump you down 50 points. Although the section was easy, that seems a bit drastic in general

does anyone remember the grammar question that people are talking about denied v. denied of?

@rawsc301 Can anybody remember more of the sentence than this section?

Its assimilation FOR SURE. assimilation means adding something new to something familiar. they created new foods with familiar concepts. the foods were only somewhat traditional but assmilation fit accordingly

@agupte I think this was one about how some girl wont plan on going places where she’s denied/denied of her right to speak or something

@i2400ezpz

That does NOT mean assimilation. Assimilation is integrating YOURSELF into a new CULTURE.

That was just mixing a new INGREDIENT with familiar (perhaps traditional?) flavors.

I put no error but a lot of people PUT the error was denied of @rawsc301

@Woandering If they’re between a 5 and a 6, they actually get a third reader or something like that

@Castigations

No, if a reader gives 5 and a reader gives 6, you get a 11.

The third reader is if the readers give scores with a difference of at least 2.

Besides, I was talking about what score someone would get without writing a conclusion. If the reader was on the edge between 5 and 6, without a conclusion, that would be 5.

@Woandering dictionary said it means to “absorb something into something else” so that fits in the context of adding new flavors into a traditional food

@woandering how do you think the curve would be like?

curve will be lenient for CR harsh for math and medium for W

@rawsc301

Definitely harsh for math. CR is mid-lenient. Same goes for W.

guys was that written question where people are denied of civil rights or where people are denied of their civil rights?

Guys, don’t ask me for google doc websites anymore. I’ve “been warned.”

its so hard to try to figure out how many I got wrong when there doesn’t seem to be much agreement on one answer…
