I feel as though it does and I’ve always heard that it did. That’s what surprised me with a less than 10.

@froggyfresh yeah I heard something about a 50 minute writing section for the new SAT?

I’m sorry, but I’m really confused with all this November 2013 sat talk. I took the december 2014 test and is it actually true that the November 2013 test was the same as this one? I looked at the thread for the nov 13 test and they were even discussing the same questions/answers! Why would CB do this?

Y’all are actually staying up?

@APScholar18 im staying up til 5 AM YO!

I’m the type of writer that writes short and concise essays so, even though i think my essays are pretty good most of the time, i always end up getting screwed by the section.

@azhang40 I think it was only certain sections and the Monkey Rope passage (Alice memorial day parade)

Have the scores ever been out at midnight??

I stay up past 2 on the daily, so this ain’t but a thang.

@DPattt are you good at fast brainstorming? I think the faster you are at brainstorming your three examples, the more time you will have to fill up 2 pages w/ conclusion and then able to throw in some good vocab!

@thegrant

Fairly sure it was the entire tests. Too many same questions from all over the test.

What do you guys usually make on the essay?

It’s so unnatural to write (BS) an essay in 25 minutes without any forethought. The activity’s premise is flawed.

I’m glad I made an account. It’s not many places you can converse with other intellectual people haha.

Lol still here…went to read a book to stop thinking about this

7 MINUTES

jk I wish

@Woandering ohhhhhh lol
@hopefuldentist11 i usually do a historical, literary, and current issue (or life example)

@froggyfresh it is a weird and robotic way to write, but i guess they have to to reduce standardized testing complexitieees

I don’t think I’m going to make it. I’m normally East coast but just flew to West coast today and now I’m so tired. It was a long flight.

Is it bad if I didn’t have a conclusion because I ran out of space? I had only like a line left after my second example.

For essays, I do a bunch of current literary (no Pride and Prejudice or bleh) or Buffet or Jobs or something. Works for me.
