@i2400ezpz according to my friend (she only got i wrong on math last time) the answer was 820. I remember the question asking ‘at least’ one of the vaccinations. Some people say it’s 650 though. That argument happens all the day. It’s happened before, they were so sure it’s right and then they get it wrong. Sometimes I was so sure and i get it wrong so only time can tell.

@Woandering Phew at least I changed that to the right answer :3

@lilyjp12 i got 13000 for that

@Woandering what were the other options? what was the sentence about
@lilyjp12 it was 13 thousand and something not 14100

Do you guys think a 12 essay and -2 will yield a 800 on the writing section?/

@lilyjp12
Some other number…I think 13900 or something similar.

@Jackytang23
Honestly, you’re still debating this problem? And if you’re going to bring ‘math reputations’ of your friend who ‘only got 1 wrong on math last time,’ I’m just gonna say that I got 0 wrong last time on a real SAT. And by the way, November 2013 says its 650, and they got the answer back ages ago.

@Jackytang23 I don’t want to beat a dead horse, but I do want to make sure that the correct answer is out there; your friend is unfortunately wrong. As I posted earlier:

"
Guys, I don’t understand the big debate over the vaccine one. I for one remember circling “ONLY ONE”. If so, the answer is as follows:

Total A: 320
Total B: 670
Both: 170

A without “Both” = 150
B without “Both” = 500
A + B without “Both” = 650.

Otherwise, if it is “AT LEAST”, it would be
A + B without “Both” + “Both” = 820 (as “Both” would be overcounted if you just added A and B.)

A great way to do this is to draw Venn Diagrams, FWIW.
"

@Woandering the one which said “essential of” was that the one about the jury not sending info to the public or something?

@i2400ezpz
It was about politics, media, and forming your own opinion. I got that one wrong, because I thought it was ‘essential for the formation,’ but ‘essential to the formation’ is fine.

oh shoot
didn’t read the whole question ,

@i2400ezpz I believe it was “essential to” and thus NE.

@i2400ezpz
Oh yeah, I suppose it was the jury one; sorry!

@Woandering yea then i put NE too!! :D

@i2400ezpz

Still can’t remember the 3rd NE, though.

@dallascowboys1
This is what I was able to find on the thread:

According to @ncccc1701:
“The “denied of” pertains to a question about a girl who said she wouldn’t travel to a country where the citizens were “denied of” rights or something. That one was incorrect. The one about the critics and the press was no error. It went something like “Critics have long argued that the press is denied access to information essential to the formation of public opinion”.

And:
According to @GranTurismo330
“critics believed that the press was denied “of” something?

@Woandering i dont think there were 3. there werent any towards the end. there was one that said"would have" but that was wrong

@i2400ezpz
Okay; honestly, my memory is getting fuzzier by the second. I’m super worried about writing though. I can’t wait until December 23rd. My Christmas will either be hell or heaven. There’s no in between.

@gourmand dang, i think i got that one wrong then. what do you guys think a 12 essay and -3 MC will yeild?

@dallascowboys1
Probably a 780-790.

Anyone willing to go through and make a list of consensus answers on the controversial ones? I’ll start off with some things I remember:

Math
Arc length QRS (or whatever the letters were): 192
Vaccines: 650
Intersections with x-axis: 4
Values of y (exponential, varying values of x): 7, 8, or 9

Writing
Press… “essential to” : NE
Something something Hazy Photographs: NE
“…denied of” the right is WRONG.

blegh my memory fails me >.<
