***Official Dec 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

Why is the “Critics have long argued that the press is denied access to information essential to the formation of public opinion” NE?

Isn’t “information essential to” incorrect since you’d need to have “denied access to information that is essential to the formation…”? Or is “information essential to the formation” considered one phrase and therefore an adjective phrase?

The boy is denied access to balloons (that are) important to the success of the party, the elephant is denied access to water (that is) significant to the elongation of mammalian lifespans…

Good morning from the east coast! I woke up early due to worries about this test.

Did anybody get a word like serendipitous or something like that in the sentence completion?

Also, did anybody else think the fixing passage was hard?

Can somebody please send in the November 2013 curve? We can reasonably estimate our curve from that curve.

Could anyone tell what the math experimental was? I had four math sections but none of them seemed particularly weird to me.

I had CR experimental so im gonna tell u what i had on each section of math

1st: radius= 128/pi and you had to find arc length
2nd: two circles tangent to each other
R=4 other r=5
3rd: average speed if of 60mi/h and 40 mi/h

What was answer to number 35 of writing
I said before line 6

Which one was the reading experiemental? I had the Alice one, the one about the Miad formula, koalas, and the different types of food and how different cultures adapt to it (something like that). And i had green chemistry

Thanks @Abdefjxl Do you remember one with a circle that had a 55deg arc within a circle and you’d draw tangents at two points on it?

Yeah that wasnt experimental

It was 360-90-90-55.What was 19 and 20 in the math section

“Resistance-conflict” or"rebellion-tension"?

And what did the 2 authors of the luis armstrong passage disagree most about? I said smth about the historical improvment of jazz

I picked rebellion-tension. For the jazz one, I said the cultural legacy of an artist…

Holy… Was it same as nov 2013??
I took that test and i thought i was feeling dejavu …
I just found score report from nov 2 2013 of mine
Im not sure of math cuz i got 800
Reading , i got 24 wrong 3 skipped and got 510
Writing , got 14 wrong skipped 1 and got 530

I bombed that test a year ago
Only If i could have remembered those entirely…
Omg why i couldn’t have realized during the test

I guess you guys can estimate curve from my score
Sadly the score report they sent me only tells me whether i got questions right ,wrong, or skipped so i cannot give you guys the answers.

Wait i dont think it was exactly same as nov 2013 us version
I remember from nov 2013 test that i had a math question relating to find something out of a cube
And im sure i did not have that on test yesterday
Last math section that had 48mi/h was definitely repeat tho cuz i now remember that clearly

What im saying is it was a lot of repeat from nov 2013 but wasnt exactly same as nov 2013

@woandering i think denied of was fine. That’s no error

Also did you guys put quotation from a scientist or add how the drinks were altered on the writing passages?

what are the grid questions again?

How about the Lily Pads question

@castigations nah but I am not sure, this answer is pretty divided

Will the collage board even tell us the curve and how many we missed or just give us our scores?
