Were the choices like -5 -3 1 3 5 or was that a different question?

I believe that the equation was y=-2x^2-3 or sth, so the greatest y value would be -3, since -2x^2 is negative no matter what. That other equation was from another problem that wanted you to find the slope of a line.

For the first question of the omnivore passage, what did you put down as the answer choice? I was not sure with that question.

By the way, the absolute value question was -9 and -1.

I don’t remember the question but ya you are right, I believe 1 returned a value of 0 which made it the answer,

I thought it said -2x^2 + 3

@agupte yeah, that’s the right number. I couldn’t remember the signs, but I got 3 as the answer.

Oh, easy, your greatest y value is 3

Its a concave down parabola with it’s vertex at 0,3 (its maximum)

What’s the answer to the refrigerator question

What did you get as the slope for that question

@wakaflocka29 I put down something like “illustrative example”.

For the slope (question 19), I got -2/3.

The slope for the one with the line and parabola, something like -2/3 i believe? @Juggerz

the two points were at -3,6 and 6,0 0-6/6- -3 = -6/6+3= -6/9= -2/3

I’m actually thinking of compiling all my answers to the math section and make a list out of it but I can’t remember all of them lol

The equation was -2x^2/3-4x because i still have it in my calculator. I am not sure what the question asked though but i just graphed the equation and used the chart for that question.

Ug I got logical demonstration @agupte

(-2/3)(x^2)-4

@wakaflocka29 Yeah, that was what I picked. It seemed right to me when I was taking the test, but idk now.

Also on the traditionalism vs assimilation question, neither of the words seem to fit well, but I put down traditionalism. However I can see how it may be assimilation.

Does anybody know the answer to that question?

I put assimilation
