@woandering wait, what? I’m confused now

@RHSclassof16 I said that the cook placing or whatever was incorrect. I know for a fact that if a gerund comes after a noun, the noun has to be possessive.

@gourmand I’m pretty sure that one was “cogent”. I got it wrong

@fireonice Yessss I got that right swag :3
@SKTT1Impact heheh that’s why I’m glad SAT has writing at the beginning, not like ACT where you have to write after filling in bubbles for three hours

@Castigations @gourmand

Answer was cogent. I remembered! I was debating between cogent and palliative, since I didn’t know what either meant.

@Woandering Yep I put cogent.

It was definitely cogent. Cogent means clear, logical, and insightful, and it was talking about someone’s writings about a topic. Palliative means soothing.

@Jackytang23
The sentence was something like: media denied of the rights or something, and denied of is wrong.

@SKTT1Impact bruh I finished 2 pages and had 5 minutes left. The admin told me we were not going to take a break till 30 more minutes so I went and took a piss lol

Sorry for bringing up the Alice passage again, but does anyone remember the question/answer for the problem that referred to Alice’s pocket-dropping thing? I think “casual troubling ease” question?

@allista I’m pretty sure I said the cook placing too, I don’t actually 100% remember because I contemplated that question a lot. I’m pretty sure I decided on the cook placing though. I think I might have done ok on the writing section if my Essay wasn’t trash.

So everything I wasn’t sure about in grammar is correct, but everything I wasn’t sure about in writing is wrong. Dammit.

@Woandering You’re getting two questions confused, actually.
There was a question about media’s right to [something]. That was correct.
However, there was another question about people being denied [of, which is wrong] the right of something

Oh god, my proctor ended up cheating us of a few minutes on the essay section, which pissed me off. She started the timer and then read us the directions, wasting like 2-3 minutes. I finished my essay though.

@allista yes should have been “to cook”

@fireonice
Answer was something like she was worried (Another verb) that she lost part of her identity or whatever without realizing it.

@Woandering @fireonice Can confirm that’s what I put
Edit: more specifically something along the lines of how easily she lost part of her identity and why it probably should have troubled her a bit more

@ashgabat
Oh oops!

EDIT: actually, I’m pretty sure that’s the same sentence…

Wow all of my CR mistakes seem to have been on vocab and Alice passage so far…
Another clarification: did we agree on the “self-interest” answer?

@fireonice Yeah, I feel as though opportunistic meaning “self-interest” makes the most sense. The people were using the parade to advertise their products.
