***Official Dec 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

Did the author feel optimistic about green chemistry?

I’m predicting, CR: -3, M: -2 and W: -1.
Hopefully I got an 11-12 essay to give me an 800

@jumpboy97 Probably a 730-750
@Mack23 Yeah; I put that he was an optimistic supporter

I really want an 800 on writing it just seems so unlikely…

@Mack23‌ @mizejonathan17‌

Really? I put he was a knowledgable supporter and contemplative about Green Chemistry (about the last paragraph).

@fireonice‌
Same omg, i hate writing.

Anyone predict my writing for 11 essay and -4 MC including deducted point?

@Woandering I feel like this score calculator may be your best prediction since it has compiled scoring curves for over 30 SAT tests: the college panda. com/sat-score-calculator/

I’ve been testing it out and it’s made me feel better about my score.

@allista‌
Oh thanks, I’ll try that.

All I know is that a wise man once told me to never over-analyse the Critical Reading section. You can literally reason yourself down to a lower score if you scrutinize every aspect of the passage.

I feel like I’m going to miss that 2300 by 10 or 20 points. I’ll be so mad…

Same here… I better not get a 2290 :frowning:

For the movie passage, did both authors say something about “Movie makers created sequels”?

@agupte I think I said that both authors said that studio executives wanted to make blockbusters. I hope we’re talking about same question?

Yeah, @allista, that’s what I got

I also said sequels I think. @allista @agupte

@Woandering‌ @mizejonathan17‌ wow u guys are geniuses i am hoping for at the bare minimum a 1950 but have a feeling i got somewhere around 2050

But I thought the point of the second one was that the executives did not intend for blockbusters. If I am wrong, there goes my 6th wrong question.

@thegrant If you’re a Sophomore or a Junior you have a good chance of reaching the 2200s, maybe even the 2300s, by the time you’re a Senior

@agupte‌
Pretty sure the executives wanted blockbusters. The directors who had blockbusters didn’t intend for them. I said that executives wanted blockbusters, too…

The first passage didn’t explicitly say that executives, or anyone, wanted sequels.
