wow… you think he’s arrogant?
and they “saw” that??

OMG chicago is the nicest most caring school i know!!! i just received an email from them saying how they are devastated to hear about the tsunami tragedy… and they were sending condolences to everyone affected.
and they extended the deadline for people in asia that are affected to JAN 21ST! can u believe that?
well i sent mine in already and im not affected so i wouldnt’ have taken advantage of that… but still!!!

that is really nice of them. i saw that yale was giving out some extra time too i think for the snowstrom that affected the north east? maybe im wrong.

apparantly yale extends the deadline every year because of holidays… its till the 4th now.

I don’t know if they “saw” that; that was just a wild guess. Well, that was just how he started the thread. I seriously doubt there’s such slogan all over Chicago’s bookstore, given how subtle the “rivalry” between Chicago and NU really is. They are not in the same sports league and in reality most students could care less what the others are doing. So I think he bascially just made it up to create a stir. Then he posted more just to get his message of chicago’s superiority across under that thread. Then everyone was surprised he’s not even in Chicago yet…lol!

Sam,

He has contributed much to the UChicago forum and started much dialogue and we must appreciate him for that. And concerning arrogance, I agree, he did display a bit, but I’m barred from chiming in on it because I myself am an arrogant ■■■■■■■.

I second that comment about yourself, briney
