<p>i keep looking at my email for a “new message” sign and everytime theres one, i think its northeastern finally reaching nj.
but its always some other college advertisements. 
my heartbeat goes up every time that happens, im bound to have a heart attack soon enough</p>
<p>I think that they are releasing results more slowly than last year. Last year posters complained that when they got their email it would take almost an hour for the decision page to open. The system was overloaded.</p>
<p>has anybody gotten any decisions with in the past 20 min? are they done with NY?</p>

<p>Reading all of your posts makes me WISH I’d applied EA here. Stuck to RD though. Applied ED to BU and got deferred with these stats:
GPA: 3.3 UW, 4.1 W
SAT I: 1880 (640 CR, 540 M, 700 W)
SAT II: 620 Lit, 550 Math 1 (obviously math’s not the strong suit here)
Intended Major: Communications (CAS)</p>
<p>While I applied ED to BU, NEU is pretty neck-and-neck with them on my list. Good luck to everyone (very very jealous of those accepted :])</p>

<p>just a tip. im from mass so my acceptance came at 3 but i didnt get an email until 3:20. i just checked the website at 3:01 cause i knew it started around three</p>

<p>btw, guys it feels amazing when you get in! i got $104,000 for four years and im nothing special (90.17 gpa, 1930 sat, 5 aps) so don’t stress!</p>

From what I’ve heard, no one who go’s to BU is happy there! Granted, that came from a NEU student!</p>

<p>@upcomingsenior I disagree: your stats also beg to differ a 1930 sat is very good, so it your GPA and 5 aps! You totally deserve all that scholarship. </p>
<p>@bgwhite I also think NeU is better than BU, for all the reasons you posted, but I would think that people at BU aren’t unhappy at all haha it was prolly a NeU student that said that!
On that note I wish I was livin’ it with rivalry in between schools, it enlightens a lot of school spirit! Can’t wait for college!</p>

<p>In a way, I’m glad I was deferred over at BU. While I’d still be thrilled to have the opportunity to study at COM, I’m interested at seeing where else I’ll get in. (Fingers crossed on NEU obviously)</p>
