Good Luck from the MIT thread everyone! Hopefully this thread will be similar to Dartmouth’s!

The Docs box was removed. I am rejected…

what does the docs box mean? where do u find it

check your FA status, if you get $$, I believe you are in.

I am having many heart attacks. Or at least if feels that way. God.

Ummm my FA status stuff are dgone…is that bad news?

Do you guys have one hour left?

Yess…one painful hour.

MLELS: i’m currently a student at cu and just hope you know that the drama department is not so strong here. Firstly cc doesn’t even have a theatre program, it’s all at barnard. not to say thats bad, its great because the barnard community is quite close BUT that does mean your options are severely limited. in terms of drama classes, you can only take one acting class a semester and the whole school only puts on a handful of productions a year. I love going to school here but i thought i’d let you know but in general good luck everyone!

45 minutes - you guys will be FINE! I’m soo jealous that you get to find out so soon!

Actually, I’d like to disagree somewhat. Theater opportunities here are extremely varied, and student theater is of high quality. I’ve heard the department is fairly well-respected too. That being said, there’s a good chance I’m just geeking out because I know of at least four Equity members with Bway credits that I’ve either performed with or been called back for the same productions as. So that angle of it is still impressive to me. But aside from anything like that, all the student productions I’ve seen thus far have been genuinely quality on the acting and singing sides. Also, I have a friend that I think is in two acting classes… one’s an improv class though, so maybe it doesn’t count?

Anyway… let’s just say that the reason I picked CU for ED over Chicago is because I thought there was better on-campus theater here, and I was 100% right. As far as elite academic schools, I’d say (besides Northwestern, the obvious leader) Yale and Columbia are the best or among the best theater-wise (maybe Brown too).

Ok, i’ve been an avid reader here but i just had to join the fun here!

Good Luck!

and yes…im applying ED too. Anxious as ‘!!!’

My FA status on the ‘Track your Application’ thing says…‘Applied for Fin Aid’. Does that mean anything?

Was it right at 5 pm the previous years?

^fasinro you’re looking at the wrong thing… go to studentviewer.finaid.columbia.edu and look there. if there’s only a “welcome yourname” and no tab that says “documents”, yours is gone too

How do we actually find out, I haven’t gotten an email telling me where to go or anything.

log in in the link i just provided in 15 mins https://app.applyyourself.com/?id=COL-U

Good luck to all of you, from the Vassar ED kids! :)

is there an email first or does it just come up on our app page?

laggggggggggg

OMG I GOT IN I’M SO HAPPY!!! !!!

But seriously, you’ll get an e-mail with a link to your decision.

And it’ll probably be late, it came at 6 last year.

(I’m '13 by the way)
