Congratulations to all of you guys! Good luck with your futures at Haverford College! Unfortunately I won’t be seeing you next fall It was my lifelong dream to have the honor of attending Haverford but sometimes in life things don’t go your way. Go get 'em guys! Make me proud!

Hey guys I just got in Haverford!!! So excited!!!
WHOOHH!

ah cant get access to it, saying page not found

Hey guys. Sadly, I got rejected and Haverford was my dream school. Do you think there’s anyway to apply again? I do have new extra curriculars that could help my case. I really thought I had a chance too. I traveled to Sri Lanka as an ambassador for human rights, am involved in several human rights programs, have a 3.8 GPA, am taking AP Euro, AP French, AP Latin, and AP literature this year along with a math course. Granted my scores are low but I thought Haverford was more focused on the individual?

If you are rejected in the ED round, you are not allowed to reapply in the RD round. If they thought you were a candidate for admission, they would defer you.

You may reapply in the following year, although I’ve not heard of that being too successful anywhere. Perhaps with a major increase in test scores, to within a school’s 25-75 band (or higher), it might.

I can’t get the link to the facebook group to work either :(

Could you try posting it again?

Customs people may make an official group later on but I’m not sure.

Hi Everyone! I was accepted! Yay! For those of you who we’re not, I’m very sorry, but transferring is always an option (it’s what I would have done most likely if I didn’t get in) and the acceptance rates are higher with transfer students if you do well your freshman year somewhere! For those of you who were accepted!!! Congratulations!!! I made a Facebook group because I couldn’t find another one! If the CPs create one though, I can delete it later! But I’d love to hear from all of the ED people! It’s called Haverford College Class of 2018! It’s an open group! Let me know if you have any problems finding it!

My daughter got accepted today! Even with legacy at UPenn (mom), she chose Haverford for ED. We are so proud of her. I only wish more of the New Englanders we live amoungst had ever heard of this wonderful college!

I can’t seem to find the group you created.

Accepted into Haverford ED. Going to play Baseball!!!
So excited. Are we making a Facebook group or what???

Type in “Haverford college class”, click on “Find all groups named haverford college class”, then you can find it

I think this is the official group made by students at Haverford for our class: https://www.facebook.com/groups/HC2018/

I’m not sure though.

Hey guys!

I was very very close to applying ED to Haverford. (But didn’t for family/personal reasons.) I went on a spec visit and had an amazing time!

I am still hoping to get in RD, though I know it’s super hard to get in that way :(

Anyway, getting to the point here, my SAT is a 2090 (640 math, 680 verbal, 770 writing). Although that is low for Haverford, do I still have a shot? Did anyone here get accepted with “lower” SAT scores?

Thanks:) I hope to be a part of the Ford community!
