Did you only get $1000 in loans or did you also get federal direct sub loans?

Yes, I got that too for $1000, but if you look into more details, there is actually about $5000 in loans.

Not sure if this helps anyone, but the lady I asked said the estimated loan will be cancelled at a later date b/c it’s only there to award transfer students correctly (and you can’t accept it or anyth)
got my fin aid package last night. it’s pretty much the same as what my current private 4 year LAC gives me, except emory gave me work study on top of it. not too bad.

have y’all received your tentative accepted transfer credit hours? they only accepted 43 hours from me and I’d be entering as a junior. that means I’d probably have to stay an extra semester or something, which is really annoying.

I have decided to attend UNC with a full ride. While the financial aid from Emory was not bad at all, my family couldn’t really afford paying 10k per year. Good luck to those heading to Emory! Beautiful institution!
I got in! It was One of my first decisions to come out so it was good to know, but I won’t be attending in the fall as I was accepted into my top choice.
