<p>I have a feeling my decision is going to come in the weekly Tuesday pool…I just really hope it’s <em>this</em> Tuesday! Whether it’s a rejection/acceptance, a decision during finals week would be terrible.</p>
<p>Are weekly Tuesday decisions only for CHE? </p>
<p>For the past two Tuesdays it just seems like large groups of applicants have received their decisions. This past Tuesday I think a lot of CALS applicants received decisions. The Tuesday before that I really don’t remember.</p>
<p>AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH… I wish Cornell would just hurry up and reject me already :(. All this waiting gives me a smidgen of hope. Blahhh. X_X.</p>

<p>I’m a civil engineering major. I placed a phone call to the engineering admissions office and they are apparently releasing those decisions some time today (to relieve or perhaps add stress to certain people’s lives). But, of course, the department reserves the right not to tell anyone their decision until July, so… we’ll see.</p>
<p>Also, quick question: let’s assume I don’t get in to Cornell. I have acceptances from Illinois and UVA. Any thoughts on that choice?</p>
<p>@vanelephant I heard amazing things about UVA. It is an exceptional school with a highly ranked engineering program. </p>

<p>I’m pretty sure uva’s engineering program isn’t that high ranked. Especially considerring Illinois (UIUC) is one of the top in the country… but that’s just as far as rankings go.</p>
<p>I called ILR on Wednesday and they told me that they would release final decision by today. It’s 3:45 already. I guess we need to wait for another week. This is getting really annoying. I really hope for schools like Cornell could keep their own words. </p>
<p>@vanelephant UIUC’s civil engineering is ranked #1 (sometimes #2) in the United States. I think you should definitely go to Illinois. U.Va’s engineering is like about #40 in the United States. I also applied for college of engineering. I haven’t heard from Cornell yet today. I am so nervous hahaha. </p>

<p>@vanelephant I’m at UVA right now and words cannot express the praise for the engineering program. Although I might be a bit bias, you should definitely go to UVA over UIUC not only because of prestige, better recruitment, but because if you decide to switch into anything else, UVA will most likely be much better. </p>
<p>its crazy how this thread is beginning to die down because most people have heard back already from Cornell for other majors while me and other SHA applicants haven’t heard jack sh_t</p>
<p>@nmwcorvette Based off of last years thread it seems like we should be finding out either this coming week or the week after that. Not sure why they wait so long. I called 3 weeks ago and they said that my application was under review by the admissions committee </p>

<p>I had a few problems with my application materials (the names of some of my documents weren’t matched together), so my application was “complete” pretty late. I’m assuming that’s why my decision is so late…? When did the rest of y’all have your applications completed?</p>
