<p>Also, I quit my volunteer job because I kind of lost hope about getting in, and I’m ridiculously poor so I thought my time would be better spent working more hours at a paying job. Should I decrease my hours at my job to start volunteering again in order to “uphold high standards of character in activities outside the classroom”?</p>

<p>@chehopeful If you need a paying job, or are living closely per paycheck, I would say that in no way takes away from your character. You just know what you need to do, and do it. Even if you weren’t “poor” a paying job does not necessarily mean it’s any less rewarding to yourself or beneficial to others than volunteering.</p>
<p>@CHEhopeful the fall semester part is just saying it’s an admission to fall 2014, you can’t preserve it and enter later…</p>

<p>@ylsimpson No, I haven’t received an acceptance packet, or my online credit evaluation…my letter said to keep checking for the evaluation online but that if that didn’t show up in the next few weeks or the financial aid packet didn’t come in the mail in the next few weeks, that I should call them! I’m hoping I don’t have to wait that long lol…:)</p>

<p>@leannegl Yeah, I tried logging into the apply yourself website every day, and nothing ever showed up. Like @ylpsimpson, I never received an acceptance email, so I haven’t received a pin. I hope they send the rest of our stuff soon! :)</p>
<p>That is so weird…So I checked the apply yourself website just now, and entered my email under the forgot password link. They sent me my pin and allowed me to reset my password, then said that I’ll be able to view my decision tomorrow at 10:00 am. That just seems super weird that I would get a physical letter of acceptance before any sort of electronic acceptance.</p>
<p>@CHEhopeful I guess there’s just something wrong…don’t worry! the physical letter said you’re in, which is more convincing than email!
I’ve sent an email to admission office asking for my decision, after sending it I felt the whole thing is over, as if I’ve seen a “sorry” letter …but I’m still satisfying

<p>@CHEhopeful Same here. I received my decision via email along with my credit evaluation from Cornell Engineering, and today I tried to make my deposit. However, it tells me that I have to accept my decision before I do so. When I try login into the decision website after clicking “forgot password” and receiving pin, it tells me my decision will be available at 10am. I have already email the admission officer that emailed me with the decision asking where can I make my deposit.</p>

<p>@engineeringboy With my acceptance letter they attached a sheet that I could mail back with my deposit. I would prefer to do it online, though. What I’m concerned about now is calling my second choice school to cancel my enrollment. Because since Cornell notified me of my acceptance so late in the game, I had already submitted a deposit to my second choice…I feel like cancelling that enrollment is going to be awkward and somewhat time-consuming. (Not to mention money-consuming! $400 that I will never see again lol 
)</p>
<p>Oh crappp. Here we go. Tomorrow my fate will be decided at 10am.
