Keep em comin!

the answer couldn’t have been including or such as because 1) they’re pretty much the same and 2) it said THREE awards. it wouldn’t make sense to say that there are three awards, including x. it would be better to say “three awards, which are…”. Including means that there are other elements. im pretty sure it was the colon

It’s the colon, because there were only 3 albums.

The sentence was, “She would release three more hip-hop albums in the next decade: …”

All the choices except for the colon implied that there were more than three.

<-photographic memory.

^ that’s exactly what I thought

Pre-Reply is exactly right.

What did you guys put for the start of the paragraph in the Queen Latifa thing where it lists her success in movies and other things.

I remember one of the options had something to do with how she enjoyed acting and another about how she liked exploring her creativity.???

i put “creative interests are not so well defined” or something like that. the others were just irrelevant or didn’t fully introduce the paragraph

i put the creative not so well categogrize

Anyone knows what’s prompt for writing on Feb? I’m taking the test April, just wanna practice.

For those who got delayed due to the weather, do they have the same test?

What about the question where the two Greek philosophers are mentioned? Should there be a comma between the Greek philosopher and the name? There wasn’t a comma on the second Greek philosopher so I didn’t put one.

Were there any who/whom questions?

Was it the calves whom or which?

it was the calves, which

tigerash, what was the full context of the calves one? Also, what were the choices?

^ it was something about calves being born. There were 4 choices, but the only choices that made real sense were whom and which. It had to be which because whom is only for humans.

lbouchard, do you remember the other choices? Was who also a choice?

Who was not a choice; I specially remember that. I think the other two were that and omit which wouldn’t make any sense.

TheKongo, I guess I answered with “which” then, because I remember telling myself it couldn’t be “whom”. What was the letter answer for “which”?

B or C, if I had to guess between those B.
