<p>btw…does anybody know what UCSD Direct Deposit is?? I have my own checkings account at Bank of America, but ucsd recommends that i open up the direct deposit, and it doesn’t really say much on what it is…can someone please explain?</p>
<p>With direct deposit, and surplus that appears in you student account will be sent directly to your bank account. For example, if you get like $10,000 in scholarships, loans, etc., but only need to pay $5000, the remaining $5000 will be sent to your bank account. If you don’t do direct deposit, they will send you a check instead, and it takes a little longer.</p>

<p>No I was calling about not having my awards like weeks before and they said to wait for them to review my app and stuff, and today I just got this. I click on the thing for accepting and nothing is there.</p>

<p>I didn’t get a UCSD grant either. I had verifications after verifications, that in the end my whole application turned out to be “late”. It’s not my fault they have to verify everything…ah well, another plus loan I guess?</p>
<p>A financial aid lady told me to write an appeals, so that’s what I’m currently doing now. You didn’t get the grant your sophmore year JV?</p>
