<p>Yea, I am starting to lose interest as well because of the waiting. I am starting to look at the things I have to do in order to start up there…new job, sublet my apartment, find one up there…I like my apt and my job here in richmond, it would be so much easier to not get in…cause if i get in, i feel obligated to go…</p>
<p>well… i was talking to my friend who also applied as a transfer and he said that a girl at his school got accepted… </p>

<p>Georgetown runs a counter-intelligence team in their admissions department which feeds out false decision date info to us to keep everyone in a state of anxiety!</p>

<p>hey im kinda new to this, but i also received my transfer acceptance package today. the letter was apparently dated the 24th. im currently a freshman at notre dame and i applied to the college. very excited, but im still waiting on more schools.</p>

<p>I really dont wanna go into too much detail, but I had very strong reasons for wanting to transfer and why georgetown fit all my needs (more diversity, an urban setting, more open-minded student body). i also stressed how much the faculty and languages and linguistics appealed to me. i actually was rejected last year, so i also said how much i still wanted to attend. as far as EC’s and work go, i definitely was VERY involved at ND (especially in student government and service) and in high school, and had 2 jobs this past summer. </p>

<p>to craintrain, my letter was sent to my home in chicago. i didnt put a temporary address on any of my applications. </p>
