What’s the link to the official ED thread?

Link^

@Jessdilla2015 Thank you!

Don’t worry! The old portal is functional but outdated. If it’s on the new portal, they have it! And I wouldn’t make too much out of the admitted students thing - there’s no way H would give it away like that. Unfortunately, we’ll just have to wait :/

I’d like to sleep from now until decisions come out. If its anything but a deferral, I’m definitely not going to school on Friday.

Did anyone get an email saying decisions were coming out on the 11th or is that just assumed?

Gonna miss this thread

I honestly wouldn’t put too much emphasis on the old portal. I don’t think anything will come of it.

I agree with @jalebigirl. I don’t think I will go to school on Friday if it is anything really good or really bad.

Actually I don’t know. I honestly have no idea what tomorrow will hold for me.

@chances12345 many people have called and confirmed the time and date with the admissions office. And to make it more official they also confirmed this on their livestream last night.

Hey guys!

I know everyone’s super worried about today. I just want to let everyone know that they should be very proud of themselves for making it this far.
Seriously, you guys are an amazing group of people, and, no matter what happens tomorrow, it’s all gonna be okay. I know you will all go and do great things. :)

Don’t freak yourselves out; I know that’s how I’m feeling right now, but there’s really no point. Decisions have been made. Now is the time to relax and realize that it’s all gonna be okay.

Remember to breathe!

@Jessdilla2015 oh ok, they’re going to be out 5pm eastern time then tomorrow?

The “Admitted Students” is there for me as well, and again it just redirects me to college.harvard.edu/admissions.

I think what should definitely disqualify the theory that this is meaningful is the fact that the page you get after you log in using the credentials for the old portal is a link to the old portal but not the new one. That page is clearly outdated.

Just 22 more hours guys!!!

@chances12345 yep!

When I’m nervous, I repeatedly knock my elbows together. Does anyone else do weird things when they’re nervous?

@Jessdilla2015 Thanks!

to check b4 or after my game… already made my decision thread to post tomorrow!!

My daughter tried coming on here and reading all of your posts the day before yesterday and said it made her too nervous. She is a musician and has spent a lot of time in audition lines and always has to put her “game face on” so to speak, so I guess that is what she is doing for the next 20 or so hours.

She also said that applying to Harvard sort of feels like the scene in Monty Python’s Holy Grail where they are getting questioned to be allowed to cross the bridge.

“What is your quest?”
“Admission to Harvard!” Some will get to cross the bridge and some will…well you know if you’ve seen the movie.

I’m gonna have trouble sleeping tonight.

@Karabekian lol I usually eat a lot of junk food when I’m stressed, but I have to get in shape for track season now so can’t xD

@HobbitTon yeah, luckily nothing else important school-wise is happening the rest of the week

@HobbitTon I think you will be in good company.
