@PerfunctoryPeter, you nailed it. I did all of that (well, most) and haven’t gotten good results from my original top choices. Hopefully at least one of my remaining schools (other than Rice, don’t want to go) will appreciate my work, but they’re all extremely selective so I doubt it tbh. I’m just bitter because I could’ve slept more, lol.
