Top school on my list + first straight rejection.
I believe I would likely have gotten an offer had I not applied for FA… as an international student from some darn competitive Asian country.
It felt okay though, because it reminds me that some four years ago I was rejected by some dream (high) school of mine (…which was also some ‘sciency’ school, by the way), and there was no FA issue then lol. But I had done fine in that OTHER school…am guessing if this is some sign for me to stay away from/stop being obsessed with sciency schools (wow)…
Ah, but it doesn’t feel ok that I’m going to miss the Claremont colleges… and, maybe, California. TuT
But if all else fails, well, at least I have a virtual presence in LA, no kidding.
