Yeah, I chose Choice B: the answer depends on how accuracy is determined
guys wasn’t Lisbon question Enriched with?
I put (a) cuz enriched by doesn’t make sense, and I even looked up dictionaries to make sure
all the example sentences were like “enriched with sth”
Hey guys, what was your last or second to last grid-in question for math? I had two math sections with grid-in questions so that means one of the sections was experimental right? I really need to know since I bubbled something random for the last two questions… Hopefully that section didn’t count ;;
@RealLettuce yeah, one of them was indeed experimental. The experimental one will probably have been weirder and possibly harder.
For those asking if your scores will be delayed. I took it today along with my younger sister (but she took it for numats). Her proctor ended up giving them too much time (1 hr for the 25 minute essay and 20 minutes for a 25 minute math section because that is what her teacher booklet said). She has to retake it on feb. 7th which is the same day I believe that the kids in the New England states take it. Therefore, I’m doubtful that they have the same test as us considering they probably wouldn’t administer the same test twice to my sister. So our scores shouldn’t be delayed since it we have different tests.
Summing up questions discussed here
FYI, I had experimental writing MC.

Can anybody take this over for the sake of us? I stopped at post #600.
Im so worried that Collegeboard might cancel my scores…
my expirimental was very obvious. It was this ACT style writing section. I felt lazy and did only like the first 5 out of 19 questions. Then i kind of just put my head dowm and daydreamed…
@betterworld your math #8 should be 1/pi, I am pretty sure
helloo guys i have few questions if u can answer me please ty.
- for the questions with 2 sets of numbers from 2-10000 and even and the other set was multiplies of 5 or something like that was the answer 4000?
- what was the tone of the author in the last sentence in passage about home… i think it went something like we have one home. whether we take care of it is up to us or something like that… was the answewr uncertain or choice a i put choice a…
- the question with the 2 circles and radius 4 and 5 and find the length of DE or someething like that what was the answer?
4)the vocab question that had option of observetory, museum, evade ( i think) ( it was number 1 or 2 in one of the sections i dont remmber) what was the answer for that ty!!
The largest triangle in a circle whose hypotenuse is a diameter of the circle is an isosceles triangle.
Assuming that the circle has a radius of r, the area of the circle is pir^2.
At the same time, the area of the triangle is r^2, since saying that a side of the triangle is a, a^2+a^2=4r^2. Then, the area of the triangle should be 1/2a^2. If we convert a^2 with r^2, we get 2r^2. Thus, r^2/pir^2 equals 1/pi.
You’re right.
- yes.
- Idk what you are talking about.
- Cannot be determined.
- Observatory.
it was red blue green green purple yellow… and the answer was red… pretty sure. and yes it said that the 16 circle or whatever is blue.
@betterworld
CR
- Organic food measured v. partisan v. exhortation
I wrote measured! Still think the others are too strong.
- Gung-ho spirit and Yankee: admiration v. inadequate explanation
The author is pretty clear about not admiring these qualities - it’s like a patronizing tone, so I think it’s inadequate explanation.
- Rabbits taking over Australia: support previous statement v. clarifying ambiguity v. worst case scenario
I think it was support previous statement; the author wanted the analogy to represent the situation, not the worst case one, and there was no ambiguity in the argument.
- Akin to an effective stage performer v. he used a modern/urban blah blah
I said stage performer - it even said he was like an actor at one point.
Math
- Ratio: 2/pi
What? I thought it was 1/pi. Can anyone remember the exact question?
Writing
- Petals changing colors: ", their petals changing colors"
You guys really shouldn’t be discussing the test questions as it violates college board’s terms of agreement (AKA the certification statement you just signed yesterday). Somehow this thread went from 11 to 107 pages most of which are discussing test questions.
Overall, I think the test went pretty well. Hopefully, my essay score was in the double digits and that my math and writing scores went up from last may.
Hey guys do u think the critical reading section about “musical authenticity” is experimental ?
i also wrote measured. and yea its 1/pie
was this passage about rabbits and Australia experimental?
@temtem99 No, it’s not
Can someone predict my score
Cr: 4 wrong- 1 omit
Math: 2 wrong - 5 omit
Writing 2 wrong - 0 omit (esay 11)
( this was just my estimate)
@Anonymoose3 oo ok. How do u know? And how do u know which one is experimental?
