Official jume 2012 SAT discussion (US)

wait for texas I can’t remember whether I put 1 and 2 or 1 2 and 3, I figured out that there had to be at least 5 more, but III stated that there has to be 5 more right?

It was highest acerages that were displayed in the chart

@bluedevil yea it said AT LEAST 5 more states. I calculated North Carolina to be around 0.8 acreage and then calculated from there.

yea guys texas, im pretty sure it wsa all 3-the chart said these are the 5 highest states in the US-therefore every other state had to have less than NC, thus it would have t obe at least 5 states and not 4.

anyways:can ppl post more cr questions? pls lol im worried.

does anyone remember the reading passage with the “retrieve” vocab question? (does it mean recover or remember?) and in that same passage, what was the other vocab in that section?

also for the critics was it really snide? I was leaning towards pedantic…

@Swoony Maybe lol thanks! I tried to go really slow on the math sections this time so I didn’t make any stupid mistakes.

Yes it did say highest acreage. They could have at least told us how much NC actually made -__-
However I am standing by my original answer. The ONLY thing you could infer was that it was less than one.

for one of the questions in the last section, i put down “parents’ insistence that the family gather together” did anyone else get the same thing?

they gave you the total acreage, and if it was .75 and the others were .5 and .25 there was room for at least 5 states

I put “insistence on the family to gather togeather”

Was the passage about smell part of the experimental?

@gt I got that too.

@gthopeful93
I got the same thing! I wasn’t sure about that question lol

What do you guys think -1 CR, -1 Math, -2 Writing would get you on this particular test?
Also, because it’s June and a lot of people are taking it, is there usually an easier curve?

Why wasn’t it “insistence that the family gather together…”?

guys it was 2400… lol

Egender for sentence comlpetiton ?

@Supaspeed
That’s what we agreed on…

i found this from a post…

“Insist on” + noun/participial phrase
My boss insisted on the rule change
My boss insisted on humiliating me in front of my girlfriend

“Insist that” + clause
My boss insisted that all employees must wear bunny slippers to meetings
My boss insisted that I submit to being called “Fart Knocker” in all sales calls

the answer should be “insist that the family gather together”

Can anyone confirm what the no errores were?

I got 3 but have a trouble remembering what they were. I do remember that I got E for question 28 though.

@zz
