Official June 2012 Sat CR sections (US)

Agree with nik.

This thread is all over the place…less so than the math thread lol.

Bannedhero the mistake ur making is that characterizing means how he feels about them, not what qualities they possess. thus only snide is applicable

Wait so they are characterize as devious and underhanded? that means dishonest?

What was the answer to the one about the biographies and Santa Fe ?

It was score choice.

@cyno primacy

And for the comparison between the two passes I am pretty sure it was “Passage 2 espouses a point viewed by author of passage 1 as objectionable”.

Espouse- To adopt or support a cause or belief.
Objection- Arousing distaste or opposition;unpleasant

They both seem to fit in perfectly. Also the author of passage two wasn’t exactly systematically discrediting author of passage ones findings. Mainly because findings makes it sound like there were hard facts in passage one, yet there were very few/none. Passage 1 was mainly opinion, passage 2 was a bit more substantiated. He provided a couple research results along with his opinion.

What were the other passages in the telescope section? I seriously do not remember getting a telescope passage. Was it a mini passage?

For a sentence completion I got dubious for one of the with another word. Did anyone else get the same?
