---------------- Not sure all I know is the one with the passage on plastics was experimental so I hear

What were some of the questions in the university one.
Was one of them what the two passages were both concerned about, i put they were both concerned about higher education

Higher education is correct

@ramesh there was one question that asked what the repetition of “what are you doing” meant, and the answer to that was increasingly indignant mood or something like that. Not sure if that’s what you’re referring to.

For the one about systematically discrediting vs espouses a position:

I thought that it was systematically discrediting.

First of all, it seemed that the 2nd author’s position was that critics like the first author failed to take into account factors outside of the classroom when considering goals of education, making their points invalid. The first author didn’t quite address this lack of perspective when arguing that education should focus on academics, so I didn’t see any evidence to suggest that the author finds the position “objectionable” (though we might infer that he would object to it if he were to respond to it).

Also, I think the 2nd author did indeed systematically discredit the first author by stating that:

Of course, I could be wrong, but this is just my opinion.

So the one with civics and career or w e the answer didnt include something about behaivor?

And the answer to one of the ones with namina or w e her name was had something to do with acknowledged it? One of the latter questions?

Anyone remember the wording about the author who uses biographical depictions in her work?

@seriouslywow i think primacy was the answer for that

I felt a lot better about this test than I do now that I’ve consulted with this website. In light of how many confusing/not straight forward questions there were, I expect a considerable curve.

That sphinx passage was hardd

@maiden thanks. I think I chose integral. I was wondering if anyone remembered the specific wording.

what was the trifling one for >.< i dont really remember it
and what was the comical anecdote one for? what were the other choices?

and for proper i put distinctive ): i put correct at first but then i thought about how interpretations of the sphinx were all different T.T

and what were other choices for the one about the other authors not having their traditional values?

thanks! xD
also, do you remember choices to the ecclectic artwork? >__<

@seriouslywow
(Insert name) showed the ____________ of biographies in her narrative depicting her life or something like that and then there was a semicolon…; she incorporated many accounts of different people or something along the lines of that. The answer was primacy because she was putting an emphasis on those biographies and giving importance to them.

An answer must be changed no matter what everyone says about evocative on the sphinx passage. It is universal appeal. Evocative means that it evokes a reaction, which it does. But the sentence before says that everyone has their own unique interpretation of it. In which case universal appeal is better because one of the definitions of appeal is: the power or ability to attract, interest, amuse, or stimulate the mind or emotions. In which case the sphinx fits this perfectly because it stimulates the minds of everyone it’s a universal feeling. If you read the passage again you will find that universal appeal is a better answer than evocative. Because if it’s evocative can you tell me what emotion it evokes? Everyone has their own interpretation…universal appeal I thought was better

Also evocative is bringing forth a strong feeling or emotion…it does not say that everyone has a strong feeling towards or against the sphinx. The passage does however say that despite the various people who visited EVERYONE has their own interpretation…

feel free to discuss/argue

I would also like to bring up the argument for amusement for the children watching tennis. It said that they didn’t have anything to do with the conflict…so why then are they paying such close attention? Like a tennis match spectator…most people go to watch tennis as a sort of entertainment…a form of amusement. It’s enjoyable to watch the ball rallied between the two players expertly. Plus since they are children they are most likely watching because they are amused at the conflict and are interested in seeing the conflict unfold.

I think I might be wrong on this one…but it was worth a shot putting out this argument lol. Please feel free to discuss/argue my answer.

Did anybody get CR section with Space, Dark Matter and Physics? I got this and hoping this is experimental one. Other sections I got was Telescopic Sphinx, Phakistani Girl and College education. Please post your thoughts

s2jhlee, that’s exactly what I put too :)

that’s what i put

I still think the answer was unsettling effect. Didnt the art guy say i was not a big deal or something? It unsettling effect because its effect constantly changed depending on the person who was looking at it. It gave off one effect to the art guy and a different one to the author.

And can someone answer 305&306 please
