Official June 2nd SATI Thread

Disease could decay some *** real fast man

for once and for all ( even though i didn’t put this)

it shud be pristine because of hte following defnition from merriam webster

2 a : not spoiled, corrupted, or polluted (as by civilization)

NOTE THE SON OF A GUN PARENTHESIS, the arugment that disease made it not pristine is faulty because disease like malaria isn’t a corruption by the civilization. In the other hand farming on land is.

My math experimental had a question like:
2,3,4,5,6 have to be arranged into 4-digit integers, so how many can you make?

I did way better on that experimental than on one of the actual math sections!

wow i cannot believe there is argument over this pristine one pristine is the obvious answer inaccessible just doens’t make sense
1 inaccessible woodlands unreachable, out of reach, unapproachable; cutoff, isolated, remote, insular, in the back of beyond, out of the way, lonely, solitary, godforsaken. NO!

it was PRISTINE I AM POSITIVE

inaccessible. of course it was accessible it was a matter of choice. unless there was a huge wall of mud that “thwarted” the settlers then it would be inaccessible.

the people neither farmed nor lived on it. if they did then they would have tarnished it, and thus it is pristine.

2,3,4,5,6 have to be arranged into 4-digit integers, so how many can you make?

I had that question. 120.

Dang, I got those all right I think…

sratman1011 i got your answer too, but i was talking about a different one.
yours is at the end of paragraph 3, there was one before the start of paragraph 2

the last section on the test with 5 and 7 as math fill in was sooooo easy!!!

lol wow I never expected so many people advocating the inaccessible/thwarted option - just because theres disease there doesnt mean its not pristine. Disease is a part of the ecosystem/nature, just like the sucky soil is, still pristine since its not touched by humans.

To Kizuna/sratman: I guess we all got the same answer at end of paragraph 3, and I think I already said that I put the pain topic sentence for paragraph 2.

echelon…what??

you said “what sentence should have been added…i wasn’t thinking and put…well if he oculd wear them in public, i could too! hahahaha”

and i agreed - thats near the end of paragraph 3 in writing.

is the pain one about chinese women? painful expereinces

oh and the tom cruise one,
i p ut " if tom cruise can wear braces in front of the inter galactic universal zeta b galaxy, why should i complain"

true that echelon. true that.

ONE MORE MATH PROBLEM!
there was one problem like 101x100=10100???
probability i think, sth like choosing from two menus. …

o you put that echelon…i thought that was ridiculous after i put it but i left it!

haha it does sound ridiculous imo, but hey, this is the SAT.

10,300 was the answer to the question with 10500 right?

OK WHAT ABOUT THE QUESTION…WITH THE PEOPLE FARTHER THAN 12 MILES AWAY FROM RESTAURANT THAT DID NOT EAT THERE…did that ask for that percentage or percentage out of total surveyed?

ya 10,300 is the answer to that one

10,300 was the answer to the question with 10500 right?

Yes, 10000 was the original amount, so 3% was 10300

what was the answer to some question about encyclopedias and esquisuite
