Official June 2nd SATI Thread

I put unsightly contraption, and I’m pretty sure that was the right answer.

However, then I got to thinking, what if Tom Cruise uses invisalign braces? Then his wouldn’t be unsightly, but whatever.

ooh i believe its that scientists have not found one yet

that was hard too - i put literary analysis distorts, or something like that.

speaking of essays how did ya’ll like the “happiness” prompt? I loved it!! For once CB actually has a some what though-provoking prompt

Kool…no i’m not sure what the question was about…sorry.

What did you all say for the h(x+1) did the graph move forward or backward?

sheed: to the left!

I said purported sightings were false or something like that.

which reminds me - does anyone remember the questions from the biographer paragraphs? I thought they were really crappy.

plug in numbers, in order to get the same y, you’d have to plug in a number 1 less than the first graph, so its backwards

severd, did the second passage say that?

i put purported sitings were false but i don’t know if that was it

Severed…i don’t think that it was that “scientists had not found a live one yet” because the second one didn’t talk about it.

thats what i got sratman

no colin, i dont think either passages talked about sightings specifically as false

well sheed, i couldn’t find the other 4 supported in both passages neither. But Passage 2, in my opinion, DID kind of infer that scientists did not find one, because it says none have being taken a picture of, so obviously if a scientist had one, they would have taken a picture of it

lol i love my logic…it must be true!!! or down with communism

ya the second passage never mentioned anything about scientists…

I thuoght i was going to get an 800 in math…i got 1 or 2 wrong on MC and 2 wrong on free-response…what do you think i will get?

yeah Echelon there was one like compare two passages. I chose (probably wrong) the first one that said one was a general group, the second subset

The first one explicitly mentioned no sightings, and the second one implied it by saying something like “if one is sighted”

definitely was scientists had not found a living one yet, because passage 1 clearly says it, and passage two dismissed the squid existence in its entirety so obviosuly he supports that scientists would never find a living one

Why not have Official M, CR, and W threads that make it easier for you guys to “check” yourselves? :)
