Official June 2nd SATI Thread

yeah it was

what did u put for the one that had one one triangle with a smaller one inside. the one side was 70 the other was like 200 and the small was 35.

what was t over s or s over t or whatever where they gave a rectangle and were like there are two points E and F that aren’t show and they make a square if area of triangle is __ and square is ___ what is s over t or t over s or w/e

sratman1011, easy problem i screwed up. thanks though

sratman idk what you are talking about faris…the other side is 100…similar triangles.

which one are you talking about d4r7?

for the one that had a rectangle on the coordinates (3,3) (-3,3) (3,-3) and (3,-3) and it asked for the total of interior points was it 21?

werd to colin512

i don’t think those were the points

yeah those weren’t…the answer was 15 I believe.

1/12? (10 char)

those were the points i think but i said 15

yeah it was more like (-3,-2) (-3,2) (3,2) and (3,-2)

anybody have an experimental writing section?

yeep^^^^^^^^

mine was critical reading…seriously, I’m still not over how hard that section was.

could 23 have been an answer for the last grid in?
this is my reasoning:
7x^2 + cx + 6 = (7x + b)(x+a)
7x^2 + cx + 6 = 7x^2 + bx + 7xa + ab
ab = 6, so a could=2 and b could=3then, it would be 3x + 21x = cx
23x = cx
c=23

could have been 23, 17 works too that’s what I put. with b as 3 and a as 2

Frankly aesthetically I thought 17 for question 17 and 18 for question 18 was just too cool a chance to pass up

motorcycle passage… ran out of time… can anyone remember what they put?
