********Official June 9th 2007 ACT Math Thread********

um why are we still talking about this? It has been a week since the test and honestly, now that summer is here, i doubt if anyone really cares to recall what they put for certain questions. Test is over and you can’t go back and change what you put. Early scores come out in a matter of 4 days so just wait and be patient.

Um. Buddy. When it comes to highschool, summer is not free time… its to make use of it in every way possible (sports… studying and etc.) Some people are juniors and they would like to discuss so that they dont miss similar questions like those on the October Test and then having a certain affect them to get into a college of their choice and a different college.

Some people are nervous about their scores and they want to make an estimate so they know what to work on. Dont worry about it. If you cant live with it, then why bother posting and expressing your concerns. Dont look at this thread.

TMac_09 : I think you’re correct. That seems to be what I got. I did some wierd calculation. I forgot. I found out what my answer in decimal was… it was like 13.59. Then I looked at the answers and converted them to decimals too and the 15sin65 was nearly dead on. So I think thats right!!!

Well, I think I agree with calcobra in the sense that we are letting admissions/tests consume our lives. Yeah, summer is a time to prep a little (oh crap, I have to learn most of SAT II Chemistry!!), but we also need to relax and enjoy our break from the madness that is school.

“Obsessing” (well, discussing) the ACT questions a week after the fact seems going overboard. I agree that you can’t change your score or answers and you’ll find out what you got in a few days. Discussing one particular question only from one’s memory won’t really help your score in the future. Now, if we could all sit down with the questions and answers from (Test Information Release, anyone? I should order that…)

So, those are my thoughts I guess. Let’s not let college interfere with our summer (but who are we kidding, it already is.)

Newfounder101, I am a living example of missing one and still scoring a 36 in Math.
