@NectarInASieve Well you can go back and look at the quesitons people were talking about like 2 hours after they took the test.
Yo… I got these scores (first try)
M: 800
CR: 740
W: 730 (10)
and I am wondering whether I should take them again. I am looking at schools like penn, brown duke etc.
Guys the curve on the math test was pretty brutal…I got 3 questions wrong (0 skipped) and lost 60 pts.
@jackwink17 I don’t think you need to take it again! I got 2290 (also first try, and I’m in 10th grade) and I’m not retaking it, but I’m going to aim for the same colleges you’re looking at.
I’m a sophomore and I got these scores:
CR: 720
M: 780
W: 790
T: 2290
Should I retake? I think a 2300+ would look better on my college application. Gonna try the ACT, too. Also, do colleges care in what grade you took the SAT? Like if someone else got the exact same scores as a junior, would I have an advantage over that person? Thanks!
Does anyone remember the last grid in question? I swear I got it right but the student answer services said I got it wrong, it’s the only question holding me back from a 2400 so any help would be greatly appreciated! (2380 otherwise)
Where are people getting these scores, is it from the March test? I thought May comes out on the 21st?
This is the March discussion.
It was 25 or 49
Also what was the curve for critical reading?
for who entered octobor 2015 . what about #29 in writing section ? A or D
Any of you got the March 2015 Student question-and-answer service?
@ReadyForTheWind @gnskid
Hello! I gave the october international SAT and turns out the test was an exact repeat of this one! Now naturally I came here to trawl this thread and saw that both of you got 800s in critical reading. Congrats on that. Now I know this is a HUGE HUGE and very desperate request and that you guys probably have forgotten all about this test, but it would be a MASSIVE help if you could clarify the following questions, as these have been the source of much debate.
- In the passage about Saburo’s father, there was a question about Saburo entering a temple from a busy street. A question asked about the significance of this metaphor. Was the answer ‘undercut with deference towards his father’ or something about contrasts.
- There was a passage about the task of defining creativity. A question asked about the authors attitude towards the task of defining creativity. Was the answer ‘useful but divisive’ or ‘difficult but worthwile’
If you somehow remember your answers to these questions and can post them below it would be a huge help. Thank you!
@yaytest33 @sillyface
Please read the above post and reply if possible.
@kat2016 you got a good score in writing can you tell me what did you do 29 in writing thought as having or such mineral as
@komogo This was 5 months ago… I do not remember at all. And the questions and answers are not released for March so I have no clue
I have a very vague memory but I think the first one was something about contrasts and the second one was difficult but worthwile? I might be completely wrong but those are the answers that I think I remember marking. @DeadShot
So you got all 67 CR answers correct? @yaytest33
does anyone have a google doc for this test? i really need it
