***OFFICIAL MARCH 2015 SAT (US ONLY)***

@Baikster Same, but what value did you get for the perimeter of each figure? (i.e mine said that the triangle, square, and pentagon all had a perimeter of 6). So what I did was 6/3 (triangle), 6/5 (pentagon), 6/4 (square), and added each according to the number of sides that it had (i.e excluding the dotted/nonexistent sides).

@RB5000 That is right, but you have to account for the little sides as well. You get that by doing 2 minus 3/2 and 3/2 minus 6/5

once again, for the creativity passage what was the answer to the last question!? the question was something like how does the author feel about Csikszentmihalyi’s theory?

Creativity passage- how would he describe defining creativity as

What was the main point

Which would most likely be in line with the guys theory

Actually I just need every answer for this awful passage

@FloridaBoy954‌ yeah because it says that the tall tales grew taller

@Willynilly123 Ah, I didn’t take those sides into account. Thank you!

@Baikster hmm… I thought it said the triangle was 6 and the pentagon was 6 but no mention of the square. That’s a weird screwup. I wish I could see the wording again.

I’m still a bit confused though, didn’t the diagram have the side right side of square equaling the left side of the pentagon? It explicitly stated “normal pentagon”, so all sides of that have to be 1.2.If anyone else is positive that it said all 3 polygons had perimeters of 6, I’ll accept that the answer was 12.6, but if my recollection of how the diagram looked is correct, I don’t understand how it’s possible for the square to have sides of 1.5 and the pentagon sides of 1.2.

Edit: I guess I can’t posted the URL to an image, I can PM it to you…? Not sure if that’s against the rules too.

@Verminsoupreme That was like only one sentence. There were several sentences that compared it to Russian novels and something else, I can’t remember. Not only that, they used the word like, which indicates an analogy.

@Verminsoupreme‌ you might be right what did you get for the question about creativity and asking the author about defining creativity i put difficult but worthwhile

@Jamesesesess Yeah it said perimeter was six for all… I do agree that it was poorly worded (like most SAT math questions).

@FloridaBoy954‌ I put that aswell

James I’m like 10,000 percent sure it was 6 for all the perimeters.

@FloridaBoy954‌ I put useful but divisive cause it basically divided into two groups of people who either supported or were against it. What do you guys think?

Got it

Any predictions for the Math curve?

The question said that the perimeter for each shape was 6.

What did you guys think about the writing section. I thought it was quite difficult when compared to other tests.

@mrmaster198‌ That’s what we all say right after all of the SATs hahah. But, yeah I had a writing experimental and it was much easier than the actual writing section.

@gkma98 im pretty sure its difficult but worthwhile because the author was praising the Czech dude for coming up with his own definition i hadn’t read anywhere where people were against the definition of creativity.

@mrmaster198 Same, i hope there’s a large curve for that :frowning:
