I cannot recall that question with slopes on the xy plane @ASAP123
Ok does anyone remember whimsical eing a vocab? I dont remember at all
i have a faint memory of their being a whimsical vocab choice but i didn’t choose it…
Ya i didn’t choose it either I know what whimsical means I and think you do too so obviously we would have picked it if it made sense
what were some of the questions on the experimental critical reading passages? I think I had 4 critical reading sections but idk which one it was
Did anyone have the passage about lingus and the study of algae and what not?! I didn’t understand a word!!!
@ASAP123 do u remember the evoke… brimming question? cuz i dont have any memory of it whatsoever… i cant remember if i chose that or something else…
@huzi98 that was probs experimental
I hope so. It was the hardest one.
Ya I remember that. For reference, there were a total of 19 vocab questions on the test. I was able to remember 17 of them so here we go:
1)ice hotels dont last long, temporary
2)indigenous
3)exhaustive
4)fantastic
5)evoke brimming- Middle eastern arid deserts, seas brimming w life
6)DNA related, distinction
7)blank, supposition
8)connotation
9)pregnancy
10)invective
11) exceeds
12)target of criticism, didn’t defend
13)Vex, ludicrous
14)Onerous
15)Limited
16)Idiosyncratic
17)Determined
If you could remember the other two it would be great
@ASAP123 do u remember some of the other choices for the evoke brimming one???
one of the words was teeming
@asap123 wait wasnt the evoke brimming one: “some people think that the middle east lacks a lot of things, but actually, its seas have a lot of life?” how does evoke brimming fit into that? .
Dw about it! There’s a lot of leeway for CR
What score are you aiming for?
@asap123 the more i think about CR, the more i think about the number of mistakes i made…
