What did you guys get for the question about the diamonds? Did their hardness make them “fitting and [some other adjective]” (NE) or just “[that other adjective]” for industrial use? I said NE because the other adjective meant something other than fitting, so it would be best not to delete it from the sentence.
^^for the spinning thing a question was what does the author take for granted. Answer: the readers would view the detail as significant rather than unimportnat
@StannistheMannis just that other adjetive. delete fitting entirely.
the reason is that fitting and suitable are synonymous, so deleting fitting makes the sentence less wordy
@reppincollege1 yes I know there was another tempting one but if you look back at the actual passage he blatantly says a plot is good if there is believable characterization

@Mathkid1998 You’re probably right but I would say that saying fitting could help because not only are you saying its suitable (as in ABLE to be used for industrial purposes), but it also fitting since it fits a specific tasks that other, less - hard materials would not.
@sat2420 for soap passage: the author thinks the impact is foam is unexpected, surprising or something along those lines.
And the second question asked something about what a guy named Daniel would think about it and i said that he would think soap has been neglected and needs more study
For the elk passage, both questions were about the last sentence of the paragraph. One of them was the author counters a misconception and the other was that elk are repopulating the East coast

@Mathkid1998 Never mind, I guess i just misinterpreted “suitable” and they really do mean the same thing. Guess I’m doing even worse on the writing section.
